Looks like my nephews the first time they were here at the farm after a rain. Their mother wasn't too impressed but Grandpa said "let'em go. They'll clean up".

ReplyDeleteThat's how they eat, stirring up the bottom to get at the brine shrimp . Brine shrimp are the reason they are pink too.
ReplyDeleteThere are quite a few roseate spoonbills here in the Tampa Bay Area. I believe they’re pink for the same reason.
