No way could I run a water line like that to my cows. They would chew that hose up now. I have my tanks next to a fence with the water line coming up the back side into the float. Even with that I build a box around the hose. Cool cow.
My Dad's Family moved to San Antonio in mid 30's (something about a Depression and his Dad could find work). He told me the story of when he and his 2 brothers were chased across a filed by one of those.
Had 5 of them years ago. Mostly pets. They know exactly where the end of that horn is. Had on momma that you couldn't quite pet but was very calm. Would get her headd stuck in the round bale feeder. Would let me walk up and give me her head to get her horn pulled back to free her Backwoods Okie
Looks a lot thin. Or are Longhorns just a bony breed?
