Okay, but only the coastal regions

Another Canadian politician suggested that some states leave the U.S. and join their neighbors to the north after Donald Trump's threats to take over the country.

Canadian Green Party leader Elizabeth May suggested all three liberal west coast states of California, Oregon and Washington join the Great White North.

  1. That's a bold strategy, Cotton, but have you looked at the value of the Canadian Dollar lately? I don't think you have enough Loonies in all of Canada to buy Alaska. Now, Detroit? We could make you a hella deal on Detroit....

  3. Alright, they can have NY, Michigan, Cali, Oregon, and Washington state, but the USA gets Alberta and British Columbia in exchange.

  4. These Canadian officials just like the president of Mexico have no moxie. President Trump can throw ideas and insults fluidity and without effort while these clowns struggle to respond.. It's going to be a fun 4 years

  9. Trust me, you do not want BC aka British California. The coast has 90% of the population and they're all socialists, conservatives are a tiny minority in the interior. Alberta (sometimes called the Texas of Canada) and Saskatchewan are very conservative, lots of church going folk who own guns. The Maverick party was started a few years ago with the goal of Alberta separating from Canada to form a new country. The Buffalo party in Saskatchewan has the same intention.

  10. LOL. Elizabeth May? Is she still around?

The Green Party of Canada has 2 out of 338 seats in parliament. One is in the Hwai Gada - the mostly all first nations of northern victoria island: May's riding, in fact. The natives have bought her brand of BS.

IOW, May and the Greens have no power

  12. That would be Lizzie "The Lush" May. She of many drunken screeds. Maybe she can get together with Pelosi and Kamala for a weekend bender in LA.

    1. Now, THAT'S a funny thought.
You wouldn't mind if Paul Pelosi and his boyfriend join in the fun that weekend, would you?

  13. Begone, West Coast, Begone! Hey Canada - if you act before midnight, we'll throw in Hawaii at no extra charge. And be sure to check out our Virginia-to-New England northeast bargain basement for more new provinces, more Trudeau socialists.

  14. If you scour off New England, New Jersey, New York City, and the bits of Maryland from Baltimore to DC you could keep Virginia. Delaware below the canal, Maryland and Virginia’s eastern shore would make a nice new fairly conservative state.

  15. Elizabeth May is a fringe party leader. She resigned a few years ago as party leader, but had to return to the position after her successor crashed hard (because of racism, you know how it is) and she seems to be the only greenie who can keep her job.

It bothers me to no end when the Canadian media even includes this party in any kind of political discussion these days, when it polls about 1% support.
