(The Center Square) – State Rep. Stan Gerdes, R-Smithville, introduced the FURRIES Act (Forbidden Unlawful Representation of Roleplaying in Education) on Thursday to prohibit Texas public schools from allowing furry subculture behavior in classrooms and on campuses. The furry subculture involves individuals adopting anthropomorphic animal identities who often dress in costumes and attempt to mimic animal behavior.

When I was in school, I'm 67y/o, it was primarily for learning but there was some leeway for personal choices, not much but we worked with it... I'm too old to even bother to try and understand " furry " culture, I did date a Goth girl once way back when so I'm not a dinosaur.. I suppose a cute girl with a tail attached to her butt could be interesting but she can't believe she's actually a cat...
ReplyDeleteAnyway I think it might be ok if it doesn't disturb the actual function of the school but I graduated in 1976, what the duck do I know....

It’s not okay. There are a ton of things that the older generations benevolently allowed and now we’re stuck with fags and trannies and pedos.
DeleteThere is a reason why societies have banned this shit for centuries. It’s not progressive; it’s the plague.
Dude I don't know where you come from but around here we've never had trannies running around when I was younger and for the most part we still don't.. Fags and pedos have always been around they just kept it secret..
DeleteAt one time America was a free country and if you weren't hurting someone else nobody would bother you.. Now you can't turn around without breaking some stupid, useless law..
Get over yourself because you don't have anything on any other generation except over entitled bullshit.. Fuck Off bitch.

On oregon we have a state health director who identifies as a turtle.
ReplyDeleteAs God is my witness, I thought turtles could breathe underwater...
DeleteMy sons warned us this was coming when they were in High School. Furries are not OK. This is a highly sexualized trend that find in origins in Japanese cartoon porn. I told them that anyone who did anything like that at the Texas High School I went to would have been beaten within an inch of their life. Nobody likes to hear it but this is where bullying plays an important social role in weeding out this kind of behavior.
