Clint Smith's Top 5 Guns: Thunder Ranch Edition

In this episode of TFBTV filmed at Thunder Ranch, James Reeves interviews legendary trainer and good friend, Clint Smith, about his five favorite guns. Clint taps into a half-century of firearms training experience and his personal preferences to tell TFBTV viewers which guns he loves the most.

  1. I'm not a gun expert but I love guns. When he said carry one gun ok, 2 guns is better and 3 is even better I liked that. I also liked his gesture on California. We all feel like that here.

  3. Never been a good shot. Simple reason being I never pursued training-practice opportunities. Oddly enough, on several occasions while in service I was as an instructor (.45/.38) "famfiring" comm-techs at my duty station. Do have a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and precision found in most any firearm.

  4. Note Clint's remark on DA revolver's grips- I concur.
    Also- the grip mod on his SAAs I have never seen elsewhere. I have modified J frame boot grips w/ a similar scallop at bottom of the left panel to allow purchase of the right-hand pinkie.
