  1. #6 It wasn't CGI. It was Kubrick on a sound stage.

    1. Then why didn’t the Soviets do it?

    2. The technology to go to the moon existed in 1969. The technology to fake it was invented in the 2000s.

    3. But Kubrick was such a perfectionist that he insisted on shooting the scenes on site.

    4. The Soviets DID fake one too but it was so bad they erased it from history. India JUST faked one. Google for the funniest fake crap you have ever seen.

    6. No, Kubrick was a fanatic about realism. He insisted they do it on location, the REAL location! (Then they went and left all those props behind because it was too expensive to ship them back).

  2. #6. Heck, I thought they used CGI to create a fake moon. Dang thing never rotates like it would if it was real.

  3. 7: Especially when they turned around and bought something like a Volkswagen or a Hyundai to replace it. But just wait until they learn the whole thing was probably pure theater.
20: I am 100% OK with every part of this.

  4. The moon landing could have actually happened AND have been staged- this was the most important event to date in human history- the US gov't didn't want to risk global embarrassment if something went wrong, so they could have had a Plan B ready to stage the lunar walk if needed- just speculating-

    1. What clinched it for me is that some of the photos that are supposedly taken on the moon have double shadows - but they didn't bring a light, so that's not possible.

So while IDK if it was staged or not, I do know they're lying about something.

  8. #17 - Great Earnhardt story. You can back this up, as two cousins, John Sullivan & Sam Rankin, were his biz advisor & stockbroker, back in the 1990s. (Their families founded Eckerd, John re-married to Faye Herr of Philly..a merger).

Sam told him that this stock CMGI, was going to get big. Dale bought 1MM at 3 or so. He sold near to 400.

If you wonder how Charlotte got so big so quick.. everyone Sam advised bought. Just the Broyhill family, et al. .

  10. I took modern physics (relativity and all that), and I took Astronomy too. The moon landing was real because it actually is pretty easy once you are in space. All this fake stuff is communist propaganda.

    1. They're the ones dropping dead from heart attacks while in their twenties and catching those turbo cancers that nobody ever heard of up until a year or so ago.
