    2. my uncle Jack was a Marine and on Pelieu when the japs ran to hide in caves.
he said the safest thing/way to deal with them was to roll a 55 gallon barrel of fuel/gas and a TNT charge in there after them . he was also fond of flamethrowers
as well. I don't remember him having a grill though,,,
a lot of this I didn't find out until AFTER I came home. we used to talk over beers.
the thing that pissed him off the most was after that shit show, they found out the island wasn't needed after all. he was kind of bitter about that part. he was one of the 12 guys standing after it was over out of the company he was with.

    3. Did he bring home any gold teeth? I know of one that did and heard of several more locally who were teeth collectors during the war in the PTO. There was a Pacific theater vet from here. He came home opened a business and did alright. He proudly displayed his "trophies" of Gold teeth in four jars through the mid-70's. Also, for a great personal account of what Pelileu was like, read "With the Old Breed At Pelileu and Okinawa" by E.B. Sledge (Alabama).

    1. Any woman with those repulsively long nails - hands or feet - is a border line psycho. Keep back 100 yards.

  5. #20- If only that had been a RPG instead of a pie, the world would be a much better place-

  6. Lady told me years ago, that if your feet looked as though you could swoop down and snatch a fish from the water, you probably shouldn’t be wearing sandals except at the beach

  8. Boy there is a lot of stuff on here I just don't get. In particular, what does #4 mean?

  9. 1: I wonder since there's a body count now if the Sig Sauer PR team will stop telling anyone who brings up how dangerous their guns are to fuck off and die. Probably not.

10: I fell into an IT job right after graduating community college, days after my 21st birthday, and the first 4 years were pretty much like this at least 3x a week, as half the people in the office were heavy drinkers. Things settled down as all of the party people left one by one. No more late nights, not even lunch drinking. I quit drinking myself before I turned 30, for various reasons, and that was 23 years ago. Now if I can just convince my 80 year old mother to dial it back a bit.

18: I know this is just a meme but people with dementia aren't signing legal documents.

    19: Oh God that's hideous.

20: I'm not one to wish death on people, but I think the world would be a better place today if that pie was filled with ricin and polonium. Bill Gates is an absolute demon.

    1. Or at least his autopen did.

I've known two people with dementia ... and both signed legal documents after it was clear they couldn't make rational decisions. One, the daughter untangled the mess. The other, the daughter caused the mess.

    2. JB did for a long time but so does DJT.
The guy can't remember who appointed Jerome Powel to the Fed (He did), a few weeks ago he complained about the unfair trade agreement we have with Mexico and Canada (he negotiated it), can't hear questions anymore, has cankles, the skin on his hands is peeling off, etc, etc, etc.

The guy is 79 years old. We can pretend it is not happening but it is.
I don't know if he will make it to the end of the term or if JD Vance will have to take over at some point but it is not getting better

    3. Wrong. Trump didn't set up trade agreements with Mexico and Canada - Clinton did under NAFTA. Nice try, though.
The difference between Trump and Biden is that nobody's trying to hide Trump's natural aging like they did Biden, and Trump's not burning the country to the ground like Biden did, plus Trump's actually doing this country some good.
