  3. #1: Drop of Crazy Glue and good as new.

#3: That's just the high heat setting used for asbestos blankets.

#7: Food salvageable with a dash of barbeque sauce, pan another Crazy Glue patient.

  4. 7) At first I thought it was a cast iron pan. But after looking closely at the handle, and the white color of the break, I suspect it is some type of ceramic pan. When cast iron does break it has more of a gray/silver color. But the lighting or settings on the camera might account for that. I'm off to do a little research.

  8. 2) I've heard of LSD, but not so sure of LSG, or if it could be a cause of that wreck. Maybe they aren't good spelling.

I've worked with metal for 40+ years, I learned how to cook for myself, if I was that hungry 57 years ago.
Judging by the heat coloration of the tea kettle off to the left, it's been allowed to run dry while heat is applied to it. 17-4 stainless steel is heat treated at just 900 degrees F. Judging by the golden brown and delicious tasty bits in the bottom of the broken skillet, this person likes heat, boiled all the water in the tea kettle away, discoloring the 18-8 stainless it's made of, grabbed the first thing in sight that could hold water, filled it with tap water, tossed it in the skillet. The quench made a clean, linear fracture in that grey iron.

    1. Looks more like black stoneware to me, but I'm retarded.

Not the same, but never used or seen any cast iron cookware with an opposing handle dished like that, nevermind the main handle so low on the body... much less the non-peen sheen glistening...
