Well, today I got my finger stuck in the slot on a cabinet door as I walked past. You know, that finger that got smashed flat about 50 yrs ago and causes immense pain once in awhile. At least I didn't spill the eggs or knock over the coffee.
That gives me an idea; I'ma start logging which day in the week the finger erupts in pain.
#1- Soundtrack- ZZZZZT!! (dull thud) Oh fuck!! AHHHH! (crash) AIEEEEE! (heavy thump) (groaning) YOU STUPID FUCKER! THAT'S THE LAST TIME I HELP YOU! (more groaning) Ow, my balls! GM
Contract truck showed up with shiny new patrol boat on it and had clearly gone under a low bridge and claims he didn't notice the demolished pilot house and mast on the boat and was offended when we started the process of having him take it straight back to the manufacturer.
1: My dad made a platform (just 3 2x4s, some brackets, and two pieces of plywood) so he had somewhere to put the ladder when he had to change the lights in the basement entrance, which was at the corner of two short flights of stairs linking the basement to the upstairs. It took him maybe an hour to put it all together. My dad is gone and it's my brother's house now, but that thing still gets used every couple of years. These idiots could come up with something slightly more complex and maybe save a life.
2: That could have gone worse.
6: I wonder if she realized how lucky she was there.
I am at the age where, when I see videos like these, my body throws up a pain response to whatever injury or stupidity is being achieved on said video.
Somedays it actually is too painful to watch the full video.
I have a really versatile combination ladder that can be used on the stairs. It can be an ordinary step ladder but can also be set up with one leg longer than the other for use on stairs or on sloping ground. It can be a straight ladder with the two halves joined end to end. Or you can add a platform so it's like a letter H and again the two legs can be different lengths so you can use it on the stairs. Stonyground.

ReplyDelete#5 No real harm done … existing damage was probably caused by preceding bridge
