# 1 Why ? Everyone knows not to do that # 3 Pressure cooker ? # 7 Not going to work # 9 Had a work buddy that bought a well used 68 - 69 Mustang coupe that went up in flames in front of a 7 11 due to the fuel line coming into contact with the exhaust manifold ... JD
#1 - The last time I saw a fridge like that I put on a bandana and started playing a fife! "C'mon boys, follow me" and marched that shit right outta the house! Harry
#3) Ah, the ol' pressure cooker. My mom had one shoot the safety-release plug through the ceiling and out the roof. It was just a metal dowel press-fit into the lid. Crazy design. It made a perfect bullet.
#2 could be many places on Long Island where the L.I.R.R. passes by. When I drove a truck I knew all the places I could safely go under. There are MANY L.I.R.R. overpasses that are 8 feet or less, especially the further east you go towards Montauk.
3) the pressure cooker blowing up always gets me. Neighbor had a pressure cooker and said that they'll just blow up on you. Then her daughter said you shouldn't open them with a hammer mom! 9) the other weekend I had a similar problem with the riding mower. The carburetor was leaking gas into the intake and hydrolocked the cylinder. Pulled the sparkplug and cranked it to spit the gas out. Didn't pay attention to the sparkplug wire until poof. Fire extinguisher did it's job though. Now the mower looks like a lemon sugar cookie. Upstate Redneck

ReplyDelete#1. I don't think I've ever seen that happen to a fridge before. Microwave, sure. Refrigerator? I think this is the first.
ReplyDeleteIt was just a can of Coke that blew up in the freezer because somebody forgot about it.
Delete2. I'm alway reminded of the Bill Engvall joke every time I see a "truck stuck under an overpass" picture.

ReplyDelete#'s 1 thru 10: Suck it up. As long as your credit cards aren't maxed out life will go on.
ReplyDelete#3 had to be a pressure cooker without a blow-off valve or they used to wrong weight on it.

#8 & 9: Stage 4 Check Engine lights on (RickeyG)
ReplyDeleteNo. 9 can be dealt with....should be an early Monday post. If it gets out of hand, it becomes No. 8.
ReplyDeleteY'all have fire extinguishers mounted under your driver's seat, yeah? With a hose on it? Not the dinky 1 Kg makeup sprayers.
#7, poorly secured load, combined with rocket like acceleration or dumped the clutch?
