Called “Full Conceal” and they recently went belly up because it was far more expensive than the typical Glock. Opinions varied, but they were never going to be fast to draw, so honestly you could do better by concealing a smaller pistol.
Looks like a modified Glock of some kind. I doubt it's factory. Probably just someone with too much time on their hands and a nifty machine shop. I don't think it would stand the test of time.

Likely didn't get stung. Swarming honeybees are VERY reluctant to sting, as there's not brood or honey stores to defend. I've gotten stung doing something that was, frankly, even stupider, but even then was only stung twice.
If he's an experienced beekeeper, he likely won't swell at all, even if he is stung a few times. I don't. And given how he was willing to dump a clump of honeybees onto his face, I'd be quite shocked if he WASN'T experienced. Takes a bit of practice to become that indifferent to it.
Getting stung ALWAYS hurts, that's why honeybee stings are a fairly strong acid - because they're designed to deter their worst predators, who are all mammals. But after some exposure, there's essentially zero swelling, and it stops hurting in 15min or so at the most.
#7, we had a small apple tree in our front yard that swarming honeybees would land on every spring. I'd capture the queen and move them to a hive and park it at a friend's house next to an orchard. Best honey is from fruit or clover. Came home and our beaner neighbor had cut the tree down- in my yard- because there were bees on it. They hauled off the wood so I lost the smoke from it too. Cops are fucking useless in a 'not on your side' situation
7 It's a swarm. They have no hive nor honey to defend, and unless you do something incredibly stupid (like mash some of them) they seldom sting. Guy on the right should have folded the cardboard over a bit to make channel to direct them into the hive, that one small clump hit the front of the hive instead of going in. He did the right thing, not swatting or slapping at the ones that hit him. And judging by his reaction, he did NOT get stung.

ReplyDeleteJust how drunk was that guy in #7.... Would have liked seeing him when he swoll up the size of the Pillsbury boy Macy's float.

Honeybees. Incredibly docile. Almost like they're not bees at all.
