And we all know what happened to the Jews, right?

I swear by all that's Holy, this is an actual letter to the editor in the local smut sheet this morning. I damned near choked on my ham sandwich when I read it.
And no, this was not a parody letter, I've seen similar drivel from the leftist author before.
Pay particular attention to the first sentence in the 3rd paragraph.
And this man votes.....

*****

As a part-time writer and author I've always thought it important to check my facts before publication. From reading letters to The Bee, it appears that some writers do not share this concern. A recent contribution, written by a gun owner opposed to gun control, repeats the claim that Adolf Hitler bragged that with full gun registration in Germany "the world would follow."

Unfortunately, the statement, usually cited as being made in 1935, is total fantasy — there was no German gun registration law passed in 1935. The gun control laws that existed in Germany were put in place at the end of World War I, prior to the Nazi takeover (these laws were passed to keep guns out of the hands of Communists and, ironically, Nazis).

Under Hitler, previous gun restrictions were lifted for everyone except Jews. As has been said, "you are entitled to your own opinions but you are not entitled to your own 'facts.' " Given the emotional nature of the gun debate, facts should be cited in support of a particular position, not made-up and fictional nonsense.

Why I'm not allowed to deal with the public at my job

BISMARCK, N.D. (CBS Seattle) – Talk about an awful first day on the job.
A news anchor in North Dakota has been fired after uttering obscenities for his first words on-air in a video that has gone viral across the country.
KFYR-TV in Bismarck, N.D., fired A.J. Clemente, a recent West Virginia University graduate, after an open microphone caught him saying “f***ing s***” as Sunday’s newscast began. The station apologized following the incident.
“He did not realize his microphone was on, but still, that’s no excuse,” Monica Hannan, the station’s news director, said in a statement on KFYR’s Facebook page.

The funny part is, A couple of days ago some baseball player used the words "our fucking city" on the air and the FCC blew off the player's shit saying they were words spoken from the heart, but if you ask me, the anchorman's words were spoken from the heart too.

Waco was a terrorist act? Yeah, committed by the government.

I've got CNN on to hear the leftist point of view and there's these two female commentators discussing who the culprit might be concerning the bombing. One of them says something to the effect that it's too early to tell but we 'have to remember that this is close to the anniversary of other terrorist attacks like Oklahoma City and Waco.'
Waco? WACO??? It was the fucking government that committed the terrorist attack in Waco, you dumbass. Remember? A bunch of people that the government decided needed to be eliminated because they didn't agree with the fed's way of thinking, so they held them under siege and then burned them alive - men, women and children. Remember?

Oh, fuck you, you leftist piece of shit.

[UPDATE BELOW] CNN's national security analyst Peter Bergen twice suggested that "right-wing extremists" could be behind Monday's Boston Marathon bombings.

Appearing on CNN's live coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing with host Jake Tapper, Bergen was asked to explain if the bombing could have been an act of terror. Bergen answered in the affirmative, and proceeded to name possible suspects depending on the type of explosive used. [Transcript below. Audio here. Video below the break.]
Who were Bergen's suspects?
Al Qaeda and "right-wing extremists."
[UPDATE: 4/15/13 5:04 p.m. EDT] Peter Bergen again tossed out the idea that a "right-wing extremist group" could have carried out the bombings.
"I think the actual – the constituency inside the bomb will make a big difference about how we identify the person who did this," he explained at the end of CNN's 4 p.m. ET hour of live coverage. The perpetrators "could be a right-wing extremist group," Bergen insisted, if the matter inside the bomb was not hydrogen peroxide, which he said is a "signature" of an al Qaeda attack.
CNN
THE LEAD
4/15/13
[4:19 p.m. EDT]

JAKE TAPPER: Peter, does this – obviously we don't want to speculate. We don't know what this was. But is there reason for people who deal in counter-terrorism to think that this is an act of terrorism? Or suspect it strongly, at least?
PETER BERGEN: Sure. Although I'm reminded of Oklahoma City which was a bombing, which was initially treated as a gas explosion. So first reports are often erroneous. But the fact that there were two explosions – two bombings – one of the things I'd be looking at is once the device, if it is a device, is found, what kind of explosives were used? For instance, if it was hydrogen peroxide, this is a signature of al-Qaeda. If it was more conventional explosives, which are much harder to get a hold of now, that might be some other kind of right-wing extremists. We've seen a number of failed bombing attempts by al-Qaeda using bombs, (Unintelligible) and for instance, the Manhattan subway in 2009, Faisal Shahzad in 2010, the attempt to bring down Northwest Flight 253 over Detroit in 2009. But we've also seen other extremist groups, right-wing groups, for instance, trying to attack the Martin Luther King parade in Oregon in 2010.
[4:59]
TAPPER: And Peter, what are you waiting to hear for – hear about in these coming hours?

BERGEN: I think the actual – the constituency inside the bomb will make a big difference about how we identify the person who did this. Or the persons who did this. Because if it's hydrogen peroxide, that puts (Unintelligible). If it's something else –

TAPPER: Could be a different –

BERGEN: – could be a right-wing extremist group. Or some other group.

Sounds like a set up to me

Saw this over at Brock's Free North Carolina
Is it just me or does anybody else find it a little odd that a firearms dealer, a man that's accustomed to safe firearms handling practices, had not one but TWO firearms there that he thought were unloaded? And before you blow me off, these guns came from his inventory and most certainly had been checked and cleared several times prior to coming to the show.
Yeah, I ain't buying it either.

An Iowa gun dealer was hospitalized after he accidentally shot himself in the hand before a gun show Friday afternoon at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
The 54-year-old St. Charles resident told police he was showing off a .25 caliber pistol he thought was unloaded when he slid the action of the gun causing it to fire. The bullet went through his left palm, according to a Polk County Sheriff’s report.
The shooting occurred in 4H Exhibit Hall about an hour before the three-day gun show began.
The man told police he was trying to dry fire, or fire the gun without a round in it. He said the gun was unloaded when he checked it earlier in the week and he didn’t know who would have loaded it. Police found another loaded gun on the man’s table and unloaded it, according to the report.

Baa baa......

I tuned in right at the very end of Shithead's special report on NBC and didn't catch anything about guns except for the commentary by one of the starry-eyed reporters saying something about restrictions on magazine size, the AWB and content of certain gun magazines.
Yup, he's not only fucking the 2nd Amendment, but he's now taking on the 1st, with full blessing of the sheep that are employed as a result of the 1st Amendment.

Nice try, folks

“When discussing the Second Amendment, Keep the First in Mind,” is the official position the White House is taking in response an online petition to deport Piers Morgan for attacking the Second Amendment. The petition garnered 109,334 signatures since it went up on December 21.
“President Obama believes that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to bear arms,” White House Spokesperson Jay Carney posted this afternoon. “However, the Constitution not only guarantees an individual right to bear arms, but also enshrines the freedom of speech and the freedom of the press — fundamental principles that are essential to our democracy.”
Official response below:
When Discussing the Second Amendment, Keep the First in Mind Too
By Jay Carney
Thank you for participating in We the People to speak out on an issue that matters to you.
Let’s not let arguments over the Constitution’s Second Amendment violate the spirit of its First. President Obama believes that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to bear arms. However, the Constitution not only guarantees an individual right to bear arms, but also enshrines the freedom of speech and the freedom of the press — fundamental principles that are essential to our democracy. Americans may disagree on matters of public policy and express those disagreements vigorously, but no one should be punished by the government simply because he or she expressed a view on the Second Amendment — or any other matter of public concern.
We recognize that the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, sparked an intense, and at times emotional, national conversation about the steps we can take as a country to reduce gun violence. In fact, your petition is one of many on the issue, and President Obama personally responded by sharing his views on this important issue.

Well, personally I'm not surprised that they're going to let the cocksucker stay - after all, he just vocalized their views. Not only that but if the government refuses to deport illegal immigrants did you really think they'd deport a legal one?

Tit for tat

The map indicates the addresses of all Journal News Employees in the New York Tri-State area. Each dot represents an individual Journal News employee -- a reporter, editor or staffer. The data does not include freelancers — reporters or photographers — which can be hired without being an employee. Being included in this map does not mean the individual at a specific location is a responsible reporter or editor, just that they are a reporter or editor.
Data for all categories is included, but certain information is not available on an individual basis.
To create the map, Talk of the Sound submitted Google searches for the names and addresses of all Journal News employees in the New York Tri-State area. By state law, the information is public record.
Readers are still putting together records and could not immediately provide some data. The map will be updated when that data is released.
For the rest of the article and the map, go HERE
Thanks to Swamprat for the link.

We can play that fucking game too, right?

Oh, this is fucking great!!!

Drudge Report has a leader that says that the Journal, the paper that published the names and addresses of the gun owners, has had to hire armed guards.
Evidently the story is so popular that I can't get through to it - my browser just keeps grinding away until it says that it can't display the page.
I'll post the link in the hopes that y'all can get through later:

http://www.rocklandtimes.com/2013/01/01/the-journal-news-is-armed-and-dangerous/

I can only imagine that the paper and employees have hired guards armed with slingshots and maybe even bows and arrows seeing as they're so dead set against guns. I mean, surely they don't consider their lives and business any more valuable then ours, do they?
I think it's hilarious that the fucking media has finally figured out that they can be held accountable for their words and actions.

Never mind, I finally got through and posted it verbatum (see above) in case you can't for some reason.

Please leave. PLEASE.

Found this article by that despicable piece of shit Piers Morgan and laughed my way through it, amazed that a supposedly educated man can ramble on about something he knows absolutely nothing about - guns and our Constitution.
Oh, at one point about halfway through he claims he knows about guns because of his relative's credentials but he starts off the article saying he's only fired guns once in his life - 'Magnum 45s' and such. That's like me saying because I changed my own oil once and my brother's a mechanic I know all about auto mechanics.
Anyways, I'm giving you the first paragraph and the last two. I strongly suggest you have a couple of good stiff drinks or smoke a joint and be prepared to laugh your ass off at this idiot's bullshit.
The rest you can read for yourself HERE

*****

I have fired guns only once in my life, on a stag party to the Czech capital Prague a few years ago when part of the itinerary included a trip to an indoor shooting range. For three hours, our group were let loose on everything from Magnum 45 handguns and Glock pistols, to high-powered ‘sniper’ rifles and pump-action shotguns.

Blah blah blah.......

In conclusion, I can spare those Americans who want me deported a lot of effort by saying this: If you don’t change your gun laws to at least try to stop this relentless tidal wave of murderous carnage, then you don’t have to worry about deporting me.
Although I love the country as a second home and one that has treated me incredibly well, I would, as a concerned parent first – and latterly, of a one-year-old daughter who may attend an American elementary school like Sandy Hook in three years’ time – seriously consider deporting myself.

They just don't learn

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A suburban New York newspaper that sparked an uproar among gun enthusiasts by publishing names and addresses of residents holding pistol permits is now planning to publish even more identities of permit-toting locals.
Further names and addresses will be added as they become available to a map originally published on December 24 in the White Plains, New York-based Journal News, the newspaper said.
The original map listed thousands of pistol permit holders in suburban Westchester and Rockland counties just north of New York City.
Along with an article entitled "The gun owner next door: What you don't know about the weapons in your neighborhood," the map was compiled in response to the December 14 shooting deaths of 26 children and adults in Newtown, Connecticut, editors of the Gannett Corp.-owned newspaper said.
The next batch of names will be permit holders in suburban Putnam County, New York, where the county clerk told the newspaper it is still compiling information.

I cannot wait for the first shooting of a burglar that's coming for guns that he found because of these idiot's irresponsible 'journalism'. If I was the shooter, I'd sue the paper and indiviually every single person involved in the publication and distribution of that information for the mental duress I suffered for taking a human life because of them. I mean it.
I'm sure the newspaper is insured, but what about the layout people, printers, proofreaders, delivery people, vendors and little Johnny the paperboy?
Hit 'em where it hurts - the pocketbook.

For thee, not for me

A week ago on NBC’s Meet the Press, David Gregory brandished on screen a high-capacity magazine. To most media experts, a “high-capacity magazine” means an ad-stuffed double issue of Vanity Fair with the triple-page perfume-scented pullouts. But apparently in America’s gun-nut gun culture of gun-crazed gun kooks, it’s something else entirely, and it was this latter kind that Mr. Gregory produced in order to taunt Wayne LaPierre of the NRA. As the poster child for America’s gun-crazed gun-kook gun culture, Mr. LaPierre would probably have been more scared by the host waving around a headily perfumed Vanity Fair. But that was merely NBC’s first miscalculation. It seems a high-capacity magazine is illegal in the District of Columbia, and the flagrant breach of D.C. gun laws is now under investigation by the police.
This is, declared NYU professor Jay Rosen, “the dumbest media story of 2012.” Why? Because, as CNN’s Howard Kurtz breezily put it, everybody knows David Gregory wasn’t “planning to commit any crimes.”
So what? Neither are the overwhelming majority of his fellow high-capacity-magazine-owning Americans. Yet they’re expected to know, as they drive around visiting friends and family over Christmas, the various and contradictory gun laws in different jurisdictions. Ignorantia juris non excusat is one of the oldest concepts in civilized society: Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Back when there was a modest and proportionate number of laws, that was just about doable. But in today’s America there are laws against everything, and any one of us at any time is unknowingly in breach of dozens of them. And in this case NBC were informed by the D.C. police that it would be illegal to show the thing on TV, and they went ahead and did it anyway.

Sure. Uh-huh. You bet.

Concerning this post HERE about a hypocrite piece of MSM shit:

An official from the D.C. police told a member of the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives that David Gregory COULD display a high capacity magazine on "Meet the Press" Sunday ... TMZ has learned.

Well-placed law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... a staffer from "Meet the Press" called ATF before the show aired to inquire about the legality of David holding the empty magazine during a segment on gun control. We're told the ATF person contacted the D.C. police to find out if the District of Columbia -- the place where the show is broadcast -- had a law prohibiting such a display.

Our sources say the D.C. police official informed ATF David could legally show the magazine, provided it was empty. An ATF official then called the staffer from "Meet the Press" to inform them they could use the magazine.

D.C. police released a statement today, saying "NBC contacted the Metropolitan Police Dept. inquiring if they could utilize a high capacity magazine for this segment. NBC was informed that possession of a high capacity magazine is not permissible and the request was denied."

It appears "Meet the Press" may have gotten 2 different answers from law enforcement.

David is currently being investigated for displaying the magazine.

What I want to know is how come nobody's investigating where he got it, how it was smuggled into DC and just where in the fuck was his Mother-May-I note?

Brits: Fuck no, you got him, you keep him.

Brits have responded to the petition calling on the White House to deport Piers Morgan for his anti-second amendment stance by lodging a petition of their own with UK Home Secretary Theresa May entitled ‘Stop Piers Morgan from being deported back to the UK from America’.
The original petition to deport Morgan for his unconstitutional rhetoric following the Sandy Hook school shooting has now achieved almost 70,000 signatures, well beyond the 25,000 required to mandate a White House response.
However, a counter-petition which features on the change.org website calls on the UK government to prevent Morgan from returning to the UK.
“We got rid of him once and why should we have to suffer again. The Americans wanted him so they should put up with him. We washed our hands of him a long time ago,” the petition reads.

LONDON (AP) — Tens of thousands of people have signed a petition calling for British CNN host Piers Morgan to be deported from the U.S. over his gun control views.
Morgan has taken an aggressive stand for tighter U.S. gun laws in the wake of the Newtown, Connecticut, school shooting. Last week, he called a gun advocate appearing on his "Piers Morgan Tonight" show an "unbelievably stupid man."
Now, gun rights activists are fighting back. A petition created Dec. 21 on the White House e-petition website by a user in Texas accuses Morgan of engaging in a "hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution" by targeting the Second Amendment. It demands he be deported immediately for "exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens."
The petition has already hit the 25,000 signature threshold to get a White House response. By Monday, it had 31,813 signatures.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander

Washington D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier has confirmed that the department is looking into allegations that NBC's David Gregory violated D.C.'s gun banning laws during a recent taping of Meet the Press.

In a discussion about gun control, host David Gregory brandished a 30-round magazine purportedly for an AR-15 or similar "assault rifle." The discussion took place on December 23, during the broadcast of NBC's Sunday morning political talk show.
Washington D.C.’s gun laws, however, state that even possessing such a device is a violation. Meet the Press is filmed at NBC's D.C. studios.
The law in question is titled: DC High Capacity Ammunition Magazines – D.C. Official Code 7-2506.01, and reads (my bold):
(b) No person in the District shall possess, sell, or transfer any large capacity ammunition feeding device regardless of whether the device is attached to a firearm. For the purposes of this subsection, the term large capacity ammunition feeding device means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition. The term large capacity ammunition feeding device shall not include an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition.
Breitbart contacted the office of the police chief and asked if there were any plans to look into this apparent violation of the District's gun laws. In response, Chief Lanier replied, "Yes, we are investigating the incident to determine if the magazine was in fact real."
We will continue to watch this developing story.

This is fucking hilarious. Seeing as they're willing to jail gun owners for the same offense with the media's blessing and support, I'm hoping like hell he's treated the same way. Of course I'm sure they're going to say it was only the casing without the spring and follower - you know, because they always obey the law. Please please please let him have shown the magazine from the top with the follower in it.
Merry Christmas to all the folks at NBC.....
