Where bad choices make good stories
From what I have read, the SAS, particularly the Australian version, wake up each morning thinking, "What can I do today to hurt myself, but not permanently?" Civilians don't do that much thinking.
Qhat us going on in #3?
A magic trick, pulling a coin out of the air, and if he'd stuck around for a few minutes, he'd probably been able to get laid.
#8 gets no sympathy from me. The idiot is a future Darwin Award winner.
I bet his dad's going to whip his ass for thinking those tiles would hold up to the impact.
#8 Would be ChuckleHead of the year, but after his father gets hold of him I'm not sure he'd qualify.
Next time it rains there's going to be hell to pay for that stunt...
Yeah, he gets an F for more than one reason.
[rocketride]Oz civs tend to be a bit sketchy on that second part.
#2 Anyone remember Leon Lett of Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl Whatever? 1993 I think. Also, a boatload of Darwins here today.
Nice Pigeon Trap # 7. Might be worth something when the dollar is toilet paper.4 and 20 blackbirds baked in a pie. :-)
Dumbassery on parade. Except for #7. That was pretty cool.
[rocketride]In what way was #5 dumbassery?
#7 i bet that trap would work great on "people of color"
#1. Iodine clock reaction. One of many such, and by no means the most spectacular. Look up the Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction. Doc Alyea used to lead the Princeton team rallies waving two flasks that changed color appropriately at the last line of the fight song. See Old Nassau reaction.
#1 what is going on!!! grayman
