  1. From what I have read, the SAS, particularly the Australian version, wake up each morning thinking, "What can I do today to hurt myself, but not permanently?" Civilians don't do that much thinking.

    1. A magic trick, pulling a coin out of the air, and if he'd stuck around for a few minutes, he'd probably been able to get laid.

  3. #8 gets no sympathy from me. The idiot is a future Darwin Award winner.

    1. I bet his dad's going to whip his ass for thinking those tiles would hold up to the impact.

    2. #8 Would be ChuckleHead of the year, but after his father gets hold of him I'm not sure he'd qualify.

  10. #1. Iodine clock reaction. One of many such, and by no means the most spectacular. Look up the Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction. Doc Alyea used to lead the Princeton team rallies waving two flasks that changed color appropriately at the last line of the fight song. See Old Nassau reaction.
