Our dogs always ran the fence with the neighbor dog. Never saw then do it with a deer. We get deer in the back yard but they'll run off at the drop of a hat.
#5, I think that dog/deer combo has done that a few times before. It is always amazing how some animals will bond, like these two, that you would think would never have anything to do with each other. Like a duck and a dog, or a cat and a squirrel, etc. It makes you realize that animals have individual personalities just like people. As for cats, they are the one animal that I don't swerve while driving to miss hitting. I don't hate cats, I just have no love for them.

#10 The cat said "I meant to do that"
ReplyDeleteThey always say that.
DeleteI had a cat years ago that fell out of a third floor window. I happened to see him fall. He landed on his feet and walked away, a little pissed.

ReplyDeletePhone call- Her - do we have cobras around here?
Me: NO, why?
Her: There's a snake on the porch. It hisses and spreads like a cobra.
Me: Stomp your foot around it.
Her: I killed it. It rolled on its back and its tongue is hanging out.
Me: turn it over.
Her: It rolled back on its back.
Me: Hog-nosed snake. Harmless.
#9. Now that is some serious foot odor.
ReplyDeleteMy parents pet deer chased cars with their two dogs. He also came in the house and ate off a plate at the table.
ReplyDeleteI know a lot you folks don't agree, but cats are pretty cool! We've got four of them plus two dogs. The shit they can do cracks me up.

Be careful I don't see you "fail to swerve". No respect for other life, no respect for yours.
