FORTY SEVEN???

OAKLAND, Calif. - A total of 47 Alameda County Sheriff's deputies were told on Friday that they were relieved of their law enforcement duties because they received unsatisfactory results on their psychological examinations dating back to 2016, KTVU has learned.

  2. California. Hmmmmm. Did they fail the Nanzi Salute test?

  3. They get to defund the police and put the blame on the police. The same shrink that recommended them doing that is the one that interviewed. My guess anyway.

    1. Bingo. I think you're on the correct path, Anon. Never underestimate the sinister intent of sociopathic politicians.

  4. I would think insanity would be the rule for Alameda County Deputies, not the exception.

    1. Probably true, but it depends on who gets to define "insanity." The devil is in the details.

  5. How to mold American LE agencies into tools of the leftist state? There are many ways, but the most important step is ridding LE of all conservatives and others who won’t go along with the program. Psych eval standards are a great way to weed out conservatives. You’re a hunter? Too violent. Into martial arts? Too violent. Your personality testing indicates you’re a free thinker and likely conservative? Fail. You’re a vet? Nope.

When the leftist politicians set the standards for what constitutes pass and fail, it’s easy to ensure only the “proper” people make it into uniform. They want order followers and nothing more.

    1. Could it be that the definition of "pass" and "fail" changed between 2016 and now?

  8. When I was a transit driver we had yearly physicals, monthly driver meetings, supervisor ride alongs, under cover riders, training all the time regardless of seniority...why haven't police departments upgraded their training and testing?

  9. Prior SWAT - 25 of us total. Had a psychologist from Houston PD come up and interview all of us. 12 of us "failed"..... these were the core, including the 2 medics (myself being one). The sheriff asked us to wait in the other room, we were saying our goodbyes to each other when he walked in and said "time to get to work boys"......he fired those that "passed" as well as the psychologist.

The shortest example of how we'd interacted with the shrink was the other medic - "you ever been on an ambulance?" "no" "ever been on a raid?" "no" "then don't tell me how to feel" and walked out......

  10. There's an agenda behind this. Can't say for sure what it is but no question this is happening for a political reason.

    1. There is not enough information to really make an opinion yet, unless you are media or a politician. I can imagine a police office having to take a psyche test after going on duty for over 24 hours straight because of defunding the police. I can also imagine that there ARE some police who NEVER should have been allowed to even become a police office.

  11. Pass/fail for shrinks is fluid. In the 80s, homosexuality was considered a psychological deviancy. Wanting to be trans was until recently. Both are celebrated now.
