#1 reminds me of a water truck driver I worked with who wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. He probably didn't know how to adjust his bakes or even the importance of keeping them in adjustment when you're drafting loads on the boat ramp at Stampede Reservoir, with a grade that's probably 12%, minimum. So, he's standing outside the truck admiring the scenery when the truck gets half full and the brakes won't hold it. It came to rest in about 10' of water.
That's when the water truck driver became the water truck diver, attaching a winch line to his submerged tuck while in his underwear. Then he rode the tank out of the lake as it was winched out by a log skidder. It was an interesting day.
#10 Two-wheeled machines are not inherently dangerous in and of themselves. They are, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention , ignorance, incompetence or stupidity.

DeleteI watch the show occasionally. There are 2 blondes that feature on the show. I believe she's the skinny one.
I wonder if #10 was a fatality

ReplyDeleteThe rider appears to be looking down at something. Possibly texting. Even with a helmet, that blow would leave a pretty bad mark.
DeleteWell shit

You'd think a fire truck would have spark arrestors.
ReplyDelete10 ,What was she looking down at? I'd rather think she dozed off than that she was messing with her phone.
ReplyDeleteI hadda watch 9 4 times to see how it went. Some dayz, clicking out and going home seems like a reasonable answer.
