Kentucky lawmakers override veto of voter ID measure

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Republican lawmakers in Kentucky have swept aside the Democratic governor's veto of a bill to require people to show a government-issued photo ID in order to vote.

Votes to override Gov. Andy Beshear’s veto easily cleared the GOP-led Senate and House on Tuesday. The votes came as lawmakers reconvened for a wrap-up session amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Maybe Biden's not as stupid as we thought

It Begins – East and West Coast Blue States Team Up To Begin Economic Civil War

It seemed clear several weeks ago this was going to happen. East coast blue state governors and West coast blue state governors are uniting to begin the economic civil war planning to block any White House effort to re-open the U.S. economy. The founders planned for this in Article I, Sec 10 (paragraph 3):

Chlamydia Harris for VP?

California Sen. Kamala Harris made two notable fundraising moves Wednesday that are sure to fuel speculation about her prospects to be Joe Biden’s running mate on the Democratic presidential ticket.

Harris, who dropped out of the White House race in December, set up a joint fundraising operation with the Democratic National Committee, an arrangement that is typically reserved for nominees trying to attract large donations from the party’s biggest boosters. Hours later, she made a surprise appearance on a virtual fundraiser, introducing Biden to donors.

Seriously, who gives a shit what he thinks?

Obama will make the endorsement of his former vice president in a video message, offering why he believes Biden is the candidate needed at this moment of crisis in America, a person close to the former president says.

Screw you, I'll do what I want

VIRGINIA (CNN) — Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam on Friday signed five gun measures into law, including a background checks bill and an “extreme risk protective order.” The slate of bills prompted a large gun-rights rally in January, with about 22,000 gathering in protest at Virginia’s state capitol. The legislation has also fueled a pro-gun movement across the state known as “Second Amendment sanctuaries,” or localities that vow not to enforce what some officials in those regions have called “unconstitutional” gun laws.

It finally dawned on me.....

Fast and Furious, warrantless searches, Obamacare in the dead of the night, drone surveillance of American citizens, ability to arrest and detain (or even kill) American citizens indefinitely without charging them, Arab Spring bankrolling, gun grabbing attempts, Benghazi, FBI/CIA ignoring the Boston Bomber threat, IRS bullying tactics on TEA Party and Jewish groups, Justice Dept. secret phone tapping of the AP, EPA special interest preferential treatment, the ongoing attacks on the I, II and IV Amendments.
It was just a series of scandals. It's to the point that I'm officially calling it for what it really is; a full blown crime wave.

Are your jackboots a little too tight today, Trooper?

NEW LEBANON — An upstate man was arrested under the state’s new gun law when troopers found him with a legally registered pistol that had a magazine that held nine bullets – two more than the new statute allows, state police said.
Troopers from the New Lebanon barracks in Columbia County stopped a car driven by Gregory D. Dean Jr., 31, of Hopewell Junction, around 9:45 p.m. Sunday on Route 22 because the vehicle’s license-plate lamp was not working. While interviewing Dean, troopers noticed a handgun on the front seat, partially covered by a sweatshirt.
The troopers determined the gun, a .40-caliber pistol, was legally registered and possessed. However, when the troopers inspected the pistol, its magazine contained the nine bullets – New York’s Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act only allows seven bullets per magazine.
Police charged Dean with unlawful possession of certain ammunition feeding devices, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, both misdemeanors, plus vehicle infractions, police said.
He was released without bail and ordered to appear May 23 in New Lebanon Justice Court.

Sounds to me like the judge who released him has his/her shit together more than the fucking cops who arrested him. All they had to do was ignore what they found. Nothing more, nothing less.

He ain't crying, he's fucking sweating it.

A Letter to the World from Jerusalem

A Letter to the World from Jerusalem
by Eliezer Ben Yisrael
I am not a creature from another planet, as you seem to believe. I am a Jerusalemite like yourselves, a man of flesh and blood. I am a citizen of my city, an integral part of my people.
I have a few things to get off my chest. Because I am not a diplomat, I do not have to mince words. I do not have to please you, or even persuade you. I owe you nothing. You did not build this city; you did not live in it; you did not defend it when they came to destroy it. And we will be damned if we will let you take it away.
There was a Jerusalem before there was a New York. When Berlin, Moscow, London, and Paris were miasmal forest and swamp, there was a thriving Jewish community here. It gave something to the world which you nations have rejected ever since you established yourselves - a humane moral code.
Here the prophets walked, their words flashing like forked lightning. Here a people who wanted nothing more than to be left alone, fought off waves of heathen would be conquerors, bled and died on the battlements, hurled themselves into the flames of their burning Temple rather than surrender, and when finally overwhelmed by sheer numbers and led away into captivity, swore that before they forgot Jerusalem, they would see their tongues cleave to their palates, their right arms wither.
Read the rest of the letter HERE at Jumblerant, ran by a man I'm proud to call my friend.

How America Burned While Feinstein Fiddled

Along with bombs and bombers, guns seem to be all the media wants to talk about these days. Death is sexy to our miscreant media, especially when people are killed on purpose. And when that happens, it’s all the newspapers and news stations will print and broadcast, in turn making these events appear worse than they are in reality.

To understand this, one need only look at the difference in coverage between the Texas fertilizer plant explosionwhich killed at least 14 confirmed people and injured 200 more at the time of writing this, versus the coverage of the Boston Marathon bombingwhich only killed three and injured a hundred others. Texas was on TV for a day, tops, while we’re still hearing about Boston and will for many weeks to come.

Where the media really didn’t care too much about the Texas incident, once a kid was killed at a race, the Boston bombing is now a foil for everything from gun control to immigration in the wake of Sandy Hook, with both sides of the political spectrum using it against the other. What about Texas, you ask? Nothing but crickets chirping from the mainstream media at the moment. Recent studies have shown that people who consume large amounts of mass media often feel more insecure, are less informed, or can’t distinguish between news and what passes as news, what with all the opinion you’ll find in news today.

Hey, they're not fucking stupid ya know.

(Reuters) - The United States was not given any warning before air strikes in Syria against what Western and Israeli officials say were weapons headed for Hezbollah militants, a U.S. intelligence official said on Sunday.
Without confirming that Israel was behind the attacks, the intelligence official said that the United States was essentially told of the air raids "after the fact" and was notified as the bombs went off.

Israeli jets bombed Syria on Sunday for the second time in 48 hours. Israeldoes not confirm such missions explicitly - a policy it says is intended to avoid provoking reprisals. But an Israeli official acknowledged that the strikes were carried out by its forces.

And did the Obamessiah really expect any kind of warning from the Israelis? He's already proven time and time again he's not a friend to them.
Come to think of it, he's not a friend to us either.

What if?

Made for each other

-Lee

Hahahahahaha....... not funny.

The Obamessiah addressed the graduating class of the Ohio State University today and started off his speech with a joke:

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Unfortunately, you've grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that's at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. They'll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave, and creative, and unique experiment in self-rule is somehow just a sham with which we can't be trusted.

We have never been a people who place all our faith in government to solve our problems. We shouldn't want to. But we don't think the government is the source of all our problems, either. Because we understand that this democracy is ours. And as citizens, we understand that it's not about what America can do for us, it's about what can be done by us, together, through the hard and frustrating but absolutely necessary work of self-government. And class of 2013, you have to be involved in that process.

Am I the only one getting a mixed message here?

Libertarian activist and radio host, Adam Kokesh plans to lead an armed march on Washington, D.C. this Independence Day.
Launched as a group on Facebook, the "Open Carry March on Washington" hopes to get 1,000 supporters to march into the nation's capital with loaded rifles.
The Facebook page states:
"This is an act of civil disobedience, not a permitted event. We will march with rifles loaded & slung across our backs to put the government on notice that we will not be intimidated & cower in submission to tyranny."
The event is said to be non-violent and states that if the group is met with physical resistance, they will turn back.

You're marching to send a message that you won't cower or be intimidated, yet if the group is met with physical resistance it will turn back..... Well, which is it? Are you not going to cower or are you?
Sorry, I ain't getting it.
