In Proctor, Minnesota, police chief Walter Wobig says that his suppliers have told him he'll have to wait "months" for the 1,000 rounds he's requested.
When Wobig turned to the residents of Proctor by putting out a call for help meeting his department's ammo needs, citizens contacted his office, eager to help.

NEW LEBANON — An upstate man was arrested under the state’s new gun law when troopers found him with a legally registered pistol that had a magazine that held nine bullets – two more than the new statute allows, state police said.
Troopers from the New Lebanon barracks in Columbia County stopped a car driven by Gregory D. Dean Jr., 31, of Hopewell Junction, around 9:45 p.m. Sunday on Route 22 because the vehicle’s license-plate lamp was not working. While interviewing Dean, troopers noticed a handgun on the front seat, partially covered by a sweatshirt.
The troopers determined the gun, a .40-caliber pistol, was legally registered and possessed. However, when the troopers inspected the pistol, its magazine contained the nine bullets – New York’s Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act only allows seven bullets per magazine.
Police charged Dean with unlawful possession of certain ammunition feeding devices, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation,both misdemeanors, plus vehicle infractions, police said.
He was released without bail and ordered to appear May 23 in New Lebanon Justice Court.

Austin TX cop shoots at a driver for running a red light
An Austin police officer has been put on administrative leave after shooting at an unarmed 55-year-old man during a traffic stop Wednesday morning in East Austin.
The officer was only feet away from the man and missed, but questions are now being raised why the officer fired on the driver in the first place.
The officer pulled the man over for running a red light in the 3300 block of East 12th Street. The officer claims the driver got out of his pickup and began walking towards the police car and refused commands to stop and get back in his truck.
According to Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo the officer said the driver made a “furtive movement.” Furtive movement? That means that the driver allegedly made a secretive reach into a pocket. That’s when the officer drew his gun and fired.
It’s good thing he missed. The cop came very close to killing an innocent man.

Denver cops cleared in citizen's asskicking
What the article doesn't say is that Mr Landrau refused to let the cops search his vehicle without a warrant and that led to him being beaten to a pulp. Landrau was pulled over for making an illegal left-hand turn in January 2009. He was involved in a struggle with the three officers that left him with severe injuries, photos of which enraged the community.
Investigations by the Justice Department, Denver police, the District Attorney’s office and Denver’s independent monitor all recommended no action be taken against the officers.
A federal lawsuit against the city filed by Landau alleged Cpl. Randy Murr and officers Ricky Nixon and Tiffany Middleton hit Landau with their fists, flashlights and a radio. They also called him a racial epithet, reported the Denver Post.
The city settled with Landau for $795,000 in 2011. The settlement is the second-largest in the city’s history.
“There is insufficient evidence to sustain any allegations of inappropriate force, racial slurs or deceptive conduct,” a city spokesperson wrote. “Other than reprimands by the Chief of Police for failure to make complete reports, no disciplinary action is taken against any of the involved officers.”

Florida House and Senate budget leaders have awarded Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw $1 million for a new violence prevention unit aimed at preventing tragedies like those in Newtown, Conn., and Aurora, Colo., from occurring on his turf.
Bradshaw plans to use the extra $1 million to launch “prevention intervention” units featuring specially trained deputies, mental health professionals and caseworkers. The teams will respond to citizen phone calls to a 24-hour hotline with a knock on the door and a referral to services, if needed.
“We want people to call us if the guy down the street says he hates the government, hates the mayor and he’s gonna shoot him,” Bradshaw said. “What does it hurt to have somebody knock on a door and ask, ‘Hey, is everything OK?’ ”

A California couple had their five-month-old baby “snatched” by police after they took the infant to get a second opinion on a medical procedure, they claim.
Anna and Alex Nikolayev are described as loving parents who took their baby, who has a heart murmur, to Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento when he started exhibiting flu-like symptoms.
The family has undergone plenty of doctor visits in the last five months for the their son’s heart, and were unsettled by the treatment he was receiving. At one point, Anna says, a nurse came in and started giving the baby, named Sammy, medicine. When she asked what it was the nurse allegedly replied, “I don’t know.”
“I’m like, you’re working as a nurse, and you don’t even know what to give to my baby…?” Anna said in an interview with ABC’s local affiliate, News10/KXTV. They later found out that medicine was antibiotics, which Anna claims the doctor told her Sammy shouldn’t have received.
After doctors started discussing heart surgery, the Nikolayevs decided they wanted a second opinion. They weren’t categorically opposed to the procedure, but they wanted a different doctor. “If we got the one mistake after another, I don’t want to have my baby have surgery in the hospital where I don’t feel safe,” Anna explained.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Visitor’s Center on Independence Mall closed for a short period of time Sunday while police investigated a suspicious man.
Authorities say a man wearing a full camouflage suit inside the Visitor’s Center quickly drew the attention of police.
Philadelphia Police Lieutenant Joe McGarrey says they caught up with him inside a vehicle in the underground parking garage.
“The car was full of trash,” he said. “So as a precaution on the safe side, we cleared it with K-9, cleared it with the bomb squad.”
Nothing dangerous was found, but the man was taken into custody for questioning. No charges have been filed.
“Obviously, it’s the Visitor’s Center, Independence Mall,” McGarrey said. “We’re going to take every precaution necessary.”

Fresno is a fucking shithole. I've been through there on the freeway exactly twice in the past 30 years and have never been in the actual town.
If I have business south of Fresno (and that's very rare) I will get off the freeway north of town, detour around it and then get back on the freeway once I'm past it.

The best of the best?
A SWAT team in upstate New York is being mocked as an example of the difference between military and police training after an officer was captured peering through a backwards sight on his combat rifle.
As users on the military Reddit were quick to point out when the image was posted, the reverse sight makes it effectively useless.
Users mocked the SWAT officers training and some went so far as to question the motives of some of the men serving in local law enforcement.
The officer is using a 'military style' assault weapon with a close quarters combat sight that costs roughly $500.
'It's disturbing to think that 1) none of his buddies corrected it, and 2) he's in a real-life situation with his optic on backwards, which means he's never fired that rifle with the optic on it, which means it isn't zeroed and he thought it was OK to show up to a gunfight with an unzeroed weapon,' wrote one Reddit user.

Not only did he not zero the weapon but apparently never even looked through the sight. But he looks cooler than shit in his military style gear, doesn't he?
Let me also point out that one of his teammates is holding a shotgun with his gloved finger on the trigger and if that ain't an accident waiting to happen, I don't know what is.

The cop was too lenient in my opinion
A Maryland woman was shocked after she received a traffic ticket on Interstate 95 — because it wasn't for speeding.
In fact, she was driving 2 mph under the speed limit.
The driver, who didn’t want her name used, told NBC Washington she was driving in the left lane of I-95 in Laurel last Friday when she was pulled over and cited for failing to move right.
According to the citation, she had been driving 63 mph in a 65 mph zone.

Personally, I feel that if she was going 2 mph under the speed limit while traveling in the fast lane, she shouldn't have gotten a ticket - she deserved to be shot.
Nothing pisses me off more than some stupid motherfucker putting along at or below the speed limit in the fast lane, particularly if they're right next to a truck and not allowing anybody to pass.
Yeah, we know you're cool, you've got cruise control, now step on the gas and get the fuck out of my way.

Today at 10AM there was a very large meeting at the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS) headquarters in Clarksburg, WV. The meeting was held in an auditorium and included everyone – from agents to the secretaries. The meeting was organized by the Director of the Biometric Identification Management Agency (BIMA), Colonel Bolo (ret.).
Bolo summarized the purchase of 24 new armored vehicles (each costing $400k) and the recent appearance of 20 mobile headquarters that are now present at the facility. The mobile units are semi-trailers with attached generators in the front; are of a shiny, mirrored-silver finish; and have no identifiable markings on them at all. There are 20 of them parked (visibly in front) at 1000 Cluster Hollow Rd, Clarksburg, WV as of today. Additionally, there are 24 armored cars (the same ones we have seen with DHS markings) parked in a different lot on this property, but they too may be visible.
The Colonel went into great detail on a list of patriot/constitutional groups. According to witnesses, this is a list that may be identical or very close to the one put out by the SPLC but had over 1000 groups on it. He explained that although groups may take advantage of the 2nd Amendment debate to garner followers now, at the heart of all these organizations is a racist core; one that poses a threat and will need to be dealt with soon. This is when he tied the armored cars and mobile command trailers to ‘the mission’.

In answering a question from an attendee regarding the mass purchase of ammo, he also stated that the buildup of arms and ammo was specifically for this ‘mission’.
The witness has told me that after the meeting, everyone they seen were against this. People were complaining, shaking their head in disbelief, and asking what the heck going on. According to them, NOBODY (including federal agents present) planned on going along with this and many even talked about how this will ignite a war.
The report I received can be verified through any personal contacts you may have at this center or connected to the agencies mentioned. You may also visibly inspect the lot for these trailers by driving to the location in Clarksburg. The witness was extremely bothered by the meeting and has said ‘it is coming and a hell of a lot sooner than people think’.
I used to think that mass roundups would never happen – but with this new information, I can clearly see that this is exactly what is going to happen (at least to a certain number of militia/patriot groups). And inevitably, any action this crazy will result in a reaction by others. The specter of Civil War in this country is a real and present danger folks – prepare.

RE: Federal action against patriot groups in US
Today at 10AM there was a very large meeting at the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS) headquarters in Clarksburg, WV. The meeting was held in an auditorium and included everyone – from agents to the secretaries. The meeting was organized by the Director of the Biometric Identification Management Agency (BIMA), Colonel Bolo (ret.).
Bolo summarized the purchase of 24 new armored vehicles (each costing $400k) and the recent appearance of 20 mobile headquarters that are now present at the facility. The mobile units are semi-trailers with attached generators in the front; are of a shiny, mirrored-silver finish; and have no identifiable markings on them at all. There are 20 of them parked (visibly in front) at 1000 Cluster Hollow Rd, Clarksburg, WV as of today. Additionally, there are 24 armored cars (the same ones we have seen with DHS markings) parked in a different lot on this property, but they too may be visible.

According to witnesses, this is a list that may be identical or very close to the one put out by the SPLC but had over 1000 groups on it. He explained that although groups may take advantage of the 2nd Amendment debate to garner followers now, at the heart of all these organizations is a racist core; one that poses a threat and will need to be dealt with soon.
