Ever Hear of the Alofs Conversion?
Back in 1923 Herman Alofs of Holland, Michigan invented a conversion that would turn an ordinary single shot shotgun into a magazine fed repeating shotgun. While interesting this creation just never made it to the big leagues.
In this video we witness how it all works in great detail. The Alofs Conversion is mounted on the left side of the shotgun’s receiver. The magazine tube holds spare shells at the ready and the carrier moves to the right to feed the cartridges right into the shotgun’s chamber. Close the action and cock the hammer. You are ready for another shot quickly.

Guns-to-Mexico Hit Piece Picks Up Where Pre-Fast and Furious Lies Left Off
U.S.A. – -(Ammoland.com)- “Selling weapons south of the border is big business — and America’s loose gun laws are also devastating for Mexico,” Seth Harp declares in a Rolling Stone hit piece on the right to keep and bear arms. He’s picking up where the gun-grabbers left off before their lies blaming incomplete citizen disarmament being responsible for Mexican cartel violence were interrupted by the exposure of Operation Fast and Furious “gunwalking, “ which tellingly, he does not see fit to even mention.
I trust that surprised no one…? After all, there’s an agenda to advance here, and Rolling Stone has always been one of its most transparent promoters.

Commentary: Export Bans and the Re-Emergence of the Nation-State
The COVID-19 pandemic has served to upend many long-held policy assumptions, but none so clearly as the theory that international trade rests purely on economic incentives, and that those economic incentives will always override a country’s more base instincts to act in its own interest because of the cost to global profits.
Responses from countries around the world to COVID-19 have significantly fractured this argument. It can no longer be said with unshakable confidence that nations will sidestep their own economic objectives, interests, and policies for the sake of a more profitable international economic integration.
In other words, reports that “the Westphalian notion of the self-interested state is dead” are greatly exaggerated.

Putnam County, FL — Proportionately, cops kill far more dogs than they do people. It’s quite a strange phenomena because postal workers, UPS drivers, and food delivery drivers don’t seem to have the same problems with dogs like cops do. It’s so devious, the killing of family pets by those sworn to serve and protect the public, we actually keep an archive of stories of cops killing man’s best friend. But one cop learned the hard way shooting a dog can be dangerous. He shot himself instead of the dog.

The last “Granny Woman” of our family, my ‘Mamaw’ served as a wealth of knowledge for most everything we encountered in our West Virginia community, and in the springtime, folks from all over the holler would seek her advice regarding when to plant their gardens. Police State Dry Run a Huge Success
When the coronavirus landed on our shores, communist China came with it.
We have become part of a mass scale human experiment in government control and it turned out that stripping away our freedom wasn’t all that difficult. Under the guise of concern for our health and well-being, tyrants came out of the woodwork. Our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our lives are being destroyed as the left solidifies and expands their oppressive powers. We’ve been herded around like cattle, threatened, isolated, confined, silenced, and arrested. You name it, it’s happening.
You tell me if what follows sounds like the United States, or China.
We’ve been told who can work and who can’t, with language that separates us according to who is and who isn’t “essential” as the almighty State supersedes individual rights and the family unit.

I can't believe how much I miss that damned dog. I still wake up every morning expecting to see him at the door so he could go outside to ambush me with a pile of shit where he knew I'd be walking later.
I'm still finding myself dropping my hand down from the arm of my chair to scratch him, only now instead of a grateful lick I'm finding nothing.
I still catch myself scanning the property wondering just where in the hell did that dog wander off to now?
I wonder sometimes if I'll ever get over him. Sometimes I wish I will but really, in a way I hope I don't. I know he'd never have gotten over me if I had died before he did.
We can always hope, right?
That satchel that Acting DNI Ric Grenell personally delivered to the Department of Justice on May 7, 2020 was far too big for just a list of the 39 Obama administration officials, including his chief of staff and ambassador to Italy. Those higher ups have been exposed as requesting the unmasking of General Flynn. But there must have been a lot more inside, and that material was voluminous to require a briefcase-sized container, and that is the key to exposing the real extent of the spy operation that President Obama carried out on his political enemies, and the unmasking of General Michael Flynn is just the tip of the iceberg.

Medical professionals and a patient in Michigan have filed a lawsuit against Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer as the battles grow between her and those favoring relaxing the economic shutdown she has imposed in response to the coronavirus crisis.
Their lawsuit in federal court comes at a time when Ms. Whitmer continues to engage in a public spat with a 77-year-old barber, who has defied various orders and as of Thursday morning continued to cut hair at his Owosso shop.
The plaintiffs allege in federal court that Ms. Whitmer’s “drastic, unprecedented [and] unilateral executive actions” to cease economic activity that her office deemed nonessential were based on “grossly inaccurate” models that no longer apply and therefore should be lifted.

A Time to Hate
Through eight years, I accepted the rules of the game. Obama was president. He won fair and square because the Republicans serially put up two milquetoast opponents who were incapable of offering a vision or articulating a message that inspired. John McCain had been an American wartime hero who stood by his men, refused early release, and withstood torture in the “Hanoi Hilton” 40 years earlier. But he had no business running for a presidency two generations later for which he was not prepared to fight and for which he had no vision. And then came Mitt Romney, his etch-a-sketch candidacy, his binders full of women, and his Romneycare, which served as the model for the Obamacare and which was the single most galvanizing issue in 2012 for Republican conservatives. In order to throw out Obamacare, the Republican Party offered us conservatives … what, Romneycare? Tough for us conservatives to sing in that tabernacle choir.

'Blue state' governors' lockdowns put America in 'untenable situation'
Historian and Hoover Institution senior fellow Victor Davis Hanson told "The Story" Friday that Democratic governors of states like New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Illinois are creating an "untenable situation" by being slow to lift lockdowns instituted to counter coronavirus.
"We don’t think more people will die because of the lockdown versus exposure to the virus," Hanson said, mimicking the thought process of some Democratic governors, "We have to be absolutely certain that nobody gets the virus and dies."

Hey, they own the place, right?
There’s growing frustration among owners of vacation homes in South Lake Tahoe as they find they are unable to visit their property because of the California’s stay-at-home order.
The city cracked down on nonessential travel and the use of short-term rentals after seeing tourists flock in record numbers to the region after Gov. Gavin Newsom implemented the stay-at-home order in March. Now, owners of those homes are fighting the ban and the fine of $1,000 per day.

A Distinct Possibility: ‘Temporary’ Layoffs May Be Permanent
In late March, Britney Ruby Miller, co-owner of a small chain of steakhouse restaurants, confidently proclaimed that once the viral outbreak had subsided, her company planned to recall all its laid-off workers.
Now? Miller would be thrilled to restore, by year's end, three-quarters of the roughly 600 workers her company had to let go.
“I’m being realistic,” she said. “Bringing back 75% of our staff would be incredible.”

Ceres Detective Mike Vierra, along with other members of the Stanislaus County Special Investigations Unit, went to the 1600 block of Manny Lane at 10:44 a.m. to follow up on an anonymous tip provided through the city government outreach app “GOGov.” A citizen reported the RV had been parked at the curb for an extended period of time. Bubble-Wrapped Americans: How the U.S. Became Obsessed with Physical and Emotional Safety
It’s a common refrain: We have bubble-wrapped the world. Americans in particular are obsessed with “safety.” The simplest way to get any law passed in America, be it a zoning law or a sweeping reform of the intelligence community, is to invoke a simple sentence: “A kid might get hurt.”
Almost no one is opposed to reasonable efforts at making the world a safer place. But the operating word here is “reasonable.” Banning lawn darts, for example, rather than just telling people that they can be dangerous when used by unsupervised children, is a perfect example of a craving for safety gone too far.

Tennessee Police Arrest Citizen Who Escaped Forced COVID-19 Detention Camp
Comrades, some readers might not be aware the Ministry of COVID compliance has set up quarantine camps, detention facilities in various areas. Formerly free citizens who test positive for COVID-19 are forcibly taken to the quarantine camps and held under guard.
Last week one of the non-compliant captives demanded his freedom; he climbed the fence and escaped detention. After a manhunt in Tennessee the subversive citizen was recaptured, arrested and brought back to the detention facility…. Alarmed yet?
A coronavirus patient was arrested Thursday after prosecutors said he jumped a fence and fled the Nashville Fairgrounds, where health officials are using enforceable quarantines in an attempt to control an outbreak at an emergency homeless shelter.
This appears to be the first case in Nashville of police making an arrest to enforce coronavirus restrictions enacted by the local government.
